This is the story of Alberto, a 18 year-old boy from Caracas whose mother falls ill unexpectedly. Alberto is our narrator into the reality of Venezuela's poor health system, its lack of order and infrastructure.

As his mother slowly fades away he desperately visits all hospitals in an attempt to save her in the midst of "la ciudad del caos".
